  HORRIBLE SERVICE except for one guy. Waited in out COLD house with friends of mine for a few hours before my husband called to see if they were coming. The "technician" wasn't able to come to work that day because he had the "flu." Sounds like the brown bottle flu because as his coworker told us the day before, It was his birthday. It took us over a week to get our new inside unit installed.
  
  I don't do this often, but, if you find yourself needing a new air conditioner or furnace, DON'T contact Affordable Heating and Cooling. We had nothing but problems with our brand new inside unit last year, it would freeze over and leaked all over my office floor causing me to rip my flooring up so they could replace the sub flooring. But not my carpet. In fact, before we talked to the ONE guy we liked from this company the owner was refusing to fix my floor! Our thermostat that they installed also had issues. Now, this year, when we turned on our thermostat, nothing was blowing through the vents. Since our warranty (woo...one year warranty) was out with Affordable my husbands parents found a guy that one of their friends knows to come look at it. Long story short- its the outside unit that is BROKE TO HELL because as the new guy put it "Affordable most likely put in the wrong kind of freon because the inside unit takes a different kind than the outside unit." And there is a chance that the coils in the inside unit are shot. We paid $1500.00 when we first moved in this house to get a new inside unit...I'm SO glad that that $1500 is going down the drain and this mistake that they could have made is going to cost us between $1,300-$3,000. And that's if the inside coils aren't broken I think.
  RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They don't even deserve any stars.
